DURHAM, NC - The Duke Blue Devils are pumped to have Sion James join their team! This 21-year-old stud transferred from Tulane and is ready to show off his skills in his last year of college hoops. James totally killed it at the big-time CP3 Elite Guard Camp in Vegas last week, turning heads without even playing in a full scrimmage.
Even though we don't have any fancy stats from the camp, everyone's talking about how James and Tyrese Proctor, a Duke vet, played like a dream together. Jon Chepkevich, the main guy at DraftExpress, posted a sick 30-second video of James playing and called him an "absolute freight train" – basically saying he's a beast on the court.
This dude's been playing hard at Tulane for four years and now he's coming to Duke to show us what he's really got. He's got this amazing combo of size and athleticism that's gonna be perfect for Coach Jon Scheyer's third team here.
Bringing the Heat to Duke's Lineup
Sion James is like a giant plus for Duke's team. He's a big, strong guy who can play super intense on both offense and defense. We're all expecting him to get a lot of playing time because he's just that good.
Everyone's super hyped to see what he does next season. His background and style of play are gonna be a big deal for the Blue Devils, who are known for being really competitive and having a killer history in basketball.
What's in Store for the Future
Now, we're all just waiting to see how James does playing for Duke. It's gonna be important to see if he can keep up his Tulane vibe in this new, high-pressure environment.
Fans and basketball peeps can't wait to watch James play. After his Vegas performance, we're all expecting some serious fireworks from him. It's gonna be a blast to see him tear it up with the Duke Blue Devils!
