According to a recent release from the program, the Badgers will compete in the Mayan Division of the challenge. Their opponents include Providence, San Diego State, and VCU, with games set to follow a three-game round-robin format.
The Cancun Challenge’s Riviera Division will feature a lineup including BYU, Idaho State, Iowa, Rhode Island, Rice, and Vermont, making this year’s event the 19th edition of its kind.
Under the leadership of head coach Marisa Moseley, Wisconsin enters the 2024-25 season following a solid performance last year, culminating in a 15-17 overall record and a notable 6-12 conference play record. Their success earned them a spot in the Great 8 of the WNIT, marking a significant achievement in the Moseley era.
