The high school volleyball season did not disappoint in its opening action, as Memorial and Legacy cruised to big victories out of the gates. It didn't end there, though, as Nocona-Henrietta, Archer City-Newcastle, and Electra-Wichita Christian all featured in thrilling five-set affairs. Tuesday's Results
Memorial 3 Saint Jo 0 Set Scores: 25-23, 25-16, 25-18
- Addi Renner led the charge with 12 assists.
- Madi Bobbitt chipped in with 9 kills and 3 digs.
Lindsay 3 Memorial 2 Set Scores: 25-22, 12-25, 26-28, 25-19, 15-11
- Addi Renner had a good showing with 27 assists.
- Eva Grisel led the way with 21 kills and added 4 digs with 2 aces.
- Madi Bobbitt collected 20 kills and 7 digs.
- Taylor Davis contributed 11 digs and 2 aces.
Legacy 3, Childress 1
Set Scores: 25-17, 24-26, 28-26, 25-21
- Ava Fukasawa had 7 kills.
- Kenedee Pennington contributed 8 kills.
- Lauren Carter had a good defensive effort with 12 digs.
Burkburnett 3, City View 0
- Allana Munoz-Price had a huge game with 13 kills, 2 aces, and 9 digs.
- Amiyah Williams and Gracyn Haas added 2 and 6 kills, respectively.
- Kynlee Jennings set the action with 28 assists while contributing 7 digs and 2 aces.
- Tatum Winney was on top of the defense with 16 digs.
Henrietta 3, Nocona 2
Set Scores: 23-25, 25-23, 24-26, 25-12, 15-8
- Aubrie Kabisch provided 10 kills and 9 digs.
- Hazel Dolff also had 10 kills.
- Kaitlyn Bryant turned in 9 kills and 20 digs.
Lyndee Brown had 10 kills and 35 assists.
Magee Fain contributed 10 kills and 10 digs.
Paradise 3, Windthorst 2
Set Scores: 25-22, 25-20, 21-25, 26-24
Charlee Wolf had 7 kills and 6 digs.
Isabel Bussey added 6 kills and 19 digs.
Megg Lindley had a well-rounded effort with 6 kills, 8 digs, and 13 assists.
Karissa Fillingim had 15 digs.
Violet West added 14 digs and 10 assists.
Kenley Teakell added 5 kills and 5 blocks.
