Premier League icon Teddy Sheringham has predicted Harry Kane to stage a shocking comeback to England, with Chelsea or Aston Villa likely to sign the Bayern Munich superstar.
Kane's Possible Premier League Return
Kane, having left Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the summer in 2023 after nearly twenty years of service to the club, has thrived in the Bundesliga. The England captain has been in top form with Bayern Munich, claiming the best scorer title during his inaugural campaign. His success as an individual on the German stage is overshadowed by his pursuit of hardware, however.
Sheringham's Bold Claim
Sheringham believes Kane's future could lie in the Premier League, but with his former club Tottenham no longer an option. Instead, the experienced striker hinted at two shock destinations that could secure his signature — Chelsea or Aston Villa.
I would not rule out seeing Harry playing for the Premier League again," Sheringham said. "He is still playing at his best, and teams like Chelsea or Aston Villa would be well served by having a forward like him."
